At SkyeCARE hospital, we seek to provide hospitality and warmth during your health needs – from check-up to crisis – with the understanding that a family-like environment is important to supporting clients and their caregivers alike. There are numerous factors to consider when choosing a hospital for yourself or a loved one; we understand that the health of your loved ones and self, are of paramount importance. With these factors in mind, we also understand that when you are unwell, it can both be an anxious and stressful time for you and your family; so, treatment plans are specifically tailored to nurture you from admission to recovery. We employ scientific and social strategies to be mutually beneficial to our clients and their caregivers alike while promoting optimum health.
In-patients according to Better Health Channel, Australia, “Visitors are an important part of the recovery process and are welcome in hospitals. Visitors can help people recover faster, and also help reduce their anxiety.” With that said, we also understand that reduced visiting hours are necessary to ensure the smooth operation of our Patient Observation Deck (POD) medical units.
Nursing Times advises that restricted visiting hours helps to reduce the risk to patients from epidemic diseases and ensures patient confidentiality. With both of these perspectives in mind, we have created a balance of care for the physical, mental and spiritual health of our clients by setting reasonable visiting hours. Visitors are allowed on a daily basis from 5:00-6:00 p.m. We ask that visitors practice appropriate hygiene when visiting to ensure their loved ones are protected.
